Scott Ready’s journey into leadership didn’t begin in a boardroom . . . it began at a kitchen table, interpreting conversations between his Deaf parents and the hearing world. As a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), Scott learned early that real communication is more than words, it’s connection, understanding, and the belief that every voice matters.

Those lessons became the foundation for a career spanning over 40 years across education, government, corporate, and non-profit sectors. Scott has led teams and driven transformation at organizations like Blackboard, Verbit, and Convo Communications, always with the conviction that sustainable success comes when people, not just performance, are at the center of strategy.

Scott has seen the difference firsthand: organizations that chase metrics without building trust burn out their people and stall their growth, while those that align people, processes, and purpose thrive in ways numbers alone can’t measure.
